Hello everyone.

I am looking for feedback and comments on an idea that arises from my `mechanical engineer's' perspective of human physiology.

This begins with a simple hydraulic dermal model that would integrate the mammalian dermal responses to changes in environmental temperature. This results in the testable suggestion that the male hormone dihydrotestosterone (DHT), has a central role in gender disposition to some serious immune diseases.

My `engineers' argument for this mechanism, can be viewed at http://www.biohydraulic.co.uk

I would welcome any comments.

Regards.

S Foote.
