It looks like the chat is going to be rescheduled sometime in late June or early July. Stay tuned for details. Mike just wants to confirm that he can get the chat applet to work in New Zealand before committing.

Here's a message from Mike to whet your appetite in the meantime:

"There is no doubt that the fact that these beautiful forms have turned out to be lawful and intrinsic parts of nature like atoms and molecules and not Lego like contingent assemblies of matter like human artifacts casts a huge shadow over the mechanistic / Darwinian presumption that the basic order of biology is 'contingent assemblage.' I am going to test 'the folds as natural forms idea' at the Abdus Salam Centre for Theoretical Physics in Trieste next week and see how the radical implication go down in mainstream biology. However wherever in nature you can predict form and structure exactly by 'laws' this holds an immence intellectual attraction for everyone in the scientific community."
