Another ideologically driven blog finds Tim Flannery and John A. Davison unacceptable even as everything we have predicted is happening at the same time that we are being dismissed and denigrated. The important thing for "Watts Up With That?" is the number of hits it can muster, the subject of its initial thread this morning. Where have we heard that before? DaveScot/David Springer used to issue those reports monthly at Uncommon Descent as if that had anything to do with the search for the truth.
I refer to my Why Banishment? thread where I have presented my quantitative interpretation of the relationship between forum quality and its popularity. Both my weblog and this one fare well with that criterion.
I am sure that the most popular weblog of all time in the biological sciences is P.Z. Myers' Pharyngula. I can say with supreme confidence that not a single constructive word has ever emanated from that venue that had anything to do with the most important issue it superficially addresses and silently supports - the mechanism of a long ago terminated organic evolution.
As for popularity -
"The applause of a single human being is of great consequence." Samuel Johnson
Tim Flannery has me. In the field of global warming I am not certain I have any fans - YET!

Please note that I have been eliminated, apparently for my support of Tim Flannery, like myself, a global warming alarmist.

That is all it takes these days. There will be no deviation from the party line. Watts Up With That?, Pharyngula, EvC, ARN, Panda's Thumb, After The Bar Closes, RichardDawkins.net, Uncommon Descent, you name the blog, and the policy is always the same. Whatever the subject, whatever the issue, it is their way or the highway.
It is hard to believe isn't it?
Thank God (or Gods) for "brainstorms."
"Mankind fiddled while earth burned...A past evolution is undeniable, a present evolution undemonstrable." John A. Davison
In neither instance is there any controversy. There is only blind, ideologically driven denial.

My good friend and loyal supporter Martin manages to evoke the very best from the trash that dwell at After The Bar Closes. Please note especially the free use of the F word by Arden Chatfield. You would think he might have the good sense to use an alias like oldmanintheskydidn'tdoit, another loser. I would like to know which institution of higher learning Chatfield represents so I can write to its Provost as I did on behalf of P.Z. Myers. If anyone knows please inform me. Pigs like that need all the exposure they so richly deserve.

I see that P.Z. Meyers now has his "trophy wife" involved in his frantic, hopeless attempt to destroy the Christian basis for all of Western Civilization. I feel sorry for all the other alumni of the University of Minnesota. It must be very painful for them, as it is for me, to see their University so degraded. I hope others will write letters to the members of the Board of Trustees and the Provost protesting the incendiary behavior of a member of the faculty.

DaveScot/David Springer, like a Chihuahua with his precious bone, is still ridiculing the notion of a man made global crisis, this time basing it on an interview between a couple of think tank "experts."
Incidentally, Wikipedia's description of Tim Flannery starts of by calling Flannery a "global warming alarmist." So much for Wikipedia. Speaking of Wikipedia, what kind of encyclopedia is it whose biographical entries are unsigned?
You see if you are an alarmist there is something wrong with you. My position is that Flannery is not nearly alarmist enough. Wikipedia has no authority on any subject and only occasionally gets something reasonably right.
I sure wish someone would have the guts to write me up for Wikipedia and sign his name to it. I am sure not going to do it! I have some serious money that says it won't happen.

I recommend this piece from Uncommon Descent. It is crunch time for the Myers/Dawkins dynamic duo. I predict they will respond with more hate speech.
I also repeat my prediction that by next February these two incurable homozygous atheists will be history, pathetic examples of a "prescribed" evolution, doomed to intellectual extinction.
I love it so!
