I was just wondering whether Dembski or some other ID proponent has answered Mark Perach's critique which can be found at [edit out URL] According to Perach, Dembski's use of NFL theorems is flawed, because Darwinistic evolution isn't trying to reach any specific target. He also says that Dembski's response to H. Allen Orr, concerning this issue, leads to a contradiction. [ 16. June 2003, 20:34: Message edited by: Moderator ]

Anselm,
This is not an appropriate way to start a Brainstorms thread. As you'll recall, brainstorms is a place for novel speculations, intuitions, insights, and ideas regarding complex systems, and an effort toward gaining positive insight into these systems. Your post doesn't fit these criteria, and indeed appears to be an entirely negative intent (towards Dembski).
If you want to discuss this particular article, I recommend starting a new thread over in the literature review forum where discussing literature is encouraged and appropriate. This thread is being closed, but feel free to post again if you have your own insights to contribute (support for your position from Mark Perach's piece is legitimate, but make sure your post is not mostly quotes).
