The idea is to reverie in the meaning of a distinction; any distinction and what it means to distinguish one thing from another. A distinction has two sides. If you divorce, you get half the house; the inside and he gets the outside half, or viscera. You have drawn a distinction where there was none before. It cost energy and entropy to do so. Notice the idea of a distinction is binary; a duality that naturally relates to the distinction having two side and can be seen from either of its two sides. There is a difference though. One perspective is inside looking out and the other is outside looking in. One is open(implication) and the other is closed(said); the divorced partner on the outside of the house is free and the one on the inside half is not free. The one on the outside sees the one on the inside as not-free and the one on the inside sees the one on the outside as free. Do you see the duality here; a duality with a difference; a difference which is all that a distinction is intended to be in the first place?
So there is a duality with Yin-Yang. Not only is there a color duality, Black or white, there is a two dimensionality to it with a third dimension implied. In a two dimensional plain, how did that little bit of black get into all of that white and vise-versa? It had to have happened by way of some unseen dimension not of the two bigies implied; a third dimension outside the paper that it is drawn. This third dimension is implied(not said) by this Yin-Yang thing. The world is not set in stone by way of black and white so long as that kind of escapement is available to it. This escapement dimension is a god's hand at work. It is a happening or state of existence for which there is no apparent cause; an effect without an apparent cause and is that not a god's business? "The Ghost in the Machine".
The binary language, Laws of Form++, reveals in a formalized way the same ghost in the machine that Yin-Yang implies is there. Here is a house []. It has an inside and an outside half. The two sides are labeled respectively with ( a,b) such that &=[b[a&]]=[b[a[b[a&]]]]=[b[a[b[a[b[a&]]]]]] etc. an infinite reiteration to an infinite depth in the Form and is one way of looking at one half the argument for this divorce to the so called, n'th degree. The n'th degree if repeated enough times makes for a vary thin wall for this house. But there must be an unbiased duality to the argument when argued formally. With this said, there is then, &*=[a[b&*]]=[a[b[a[b&*]]]]=[a[b[a[b[a[b&*]]]]]] etc. and is the other way of looking at this divorce. However, the machine does not permit both at the same time. The reality(for those Humanists that believe in a reality) dictates that the two different ways of looking at this divorce are exclusive Or'ed(XOr) with one another. This is written simply as &&*=[b[a&]][a[b&*]]; one XOr the other but not both at the same time. {It has not gone unnoticed that if the wall gets thin enough at the n'th degree, then quantum effects apply} Now here is the ghost in the machine that Yin-Yang implies is there. Just simply 'Not' the Machine(Humans do this all the time; especially Humanists) like so, [&&*] and ask what is that? Well, it is the exclusive NOr(Not exclusive Or) of the former. In doing this you have effectively and formally divorced the machine from it's self; the divorce machine process has, it's self been divorced i.e.God now, it's self was caused or has a cause. Again, this is something humanists and UU's do all the time. But, Yin-Yang did it first and Yin-Yang to the n'th degree is called tunneling in quantum theory. The exclusive OR above, &&*, in quantum theory is called a supper position or a mixed state. This state only happens when the wall of the house is vary thin and that only happens when the iteration is taken to the n'th degree. That god it's self has a cause is Yin-Yang's Yin-Yang, [&&*]. The machine divorced from it's machine like behavior is the ghost in that machine. These are, effectively, machines capable of falsehoods; lying as it were. It has an imagination. Imagine that.
