By now I am sure we have all heard of the nucleosome code. I thought I would open a thread for discussion of this amazing discovery.

A couple of questions I have are:

1) Why can the placement of nucleosomes be predicted only 50% of the time with this code, and

2) Does this pattern of folding around nucleosomes have any relationship to Peter Borgers nonrandom mutations. In other words are the nonrandom mutations related to the nculeosome code?

It further explains sequence similaraties between unrelated, not interbreeding organisms, without the need of common descent.
