Conferences

ISCID was pleased to host its first ever e-symposium: The Teleological Origin of Biological Information which was held on the web from October 10th - 12th 2002. The aim of this symposium was to assess teleological approaches to the origin of biological information.

Please visit the symposium's website for more information about the transcripts and papers that were presented: The Teleological Origin of Biological Information

ISCID will hold various symposia and conferences to investigate the role of information and design in the organization of complex systems. In this pursuit, we will hold an annual online symposium each fall. In addition, it is our plan to hold conferences in honor of significant individuals who made important theoretical contributions in disciplines that are relevant to ISCID. This will be the site where details concerning these events will be listed.
