|ISCID Encyclopedia of Science and Philosophy - HELP|
The ISCID Encyclopedia of Science and Philosophy uses a simple, easy to use and intuitive search algorithm. Simply type in a word, phrase or series of words just as you would in Google or any other search engine. The encyclopedia search system uses a comparison operator to match your search term with the most relevant encyclopedia entries. The more specific your search terms, the more accurate your search results will be.
If you do a search on common words such as "the" or "and" it is likely that no results will be returned. The reason for this is that the search algorithm requires that a search phrase be present in less than 50% of all encyclopedia entries.
Use the green browse toolbar to browse encyclopedia entries by first letter. Simply click on the letter that you would like browse, and the search algorithm shows only the results that begin with that letter.
