NOR Operator

In binary or boolean logic, NOR is the operator with the following results for binary operations:

0 NOR 0 = 1
0 NOR 1 = 0
1 NOR 0 = 0
1 NOR 1 = 0

When neither binary input value is 1, then the result is 1. Otherwise, the result is 0. Used in logic gates for computers, 0 is false, 1 is true. In the mathematics of Boolean algebra, used to manipulate Boolean equations, these operators have special symbols.
