OR Operator

In binary logic, OR is represented as the operator with the following results for binary operations:

0 OR 0 = 0
0 OR 1 = 1
1 OR 0 = 1
1 OR 1 = 1

When either or both of the binary values is 1, then the result is 1. Otherwise the result is 0. 0 is false, 1 is true. In the mathematics of Boolean algebra, used as the basis of computers and to manipulate Boolean equations, these operators have special symbols.
