XOR Operator

Exclusive OR. In binary logic, XOR is represented as the operator with the following results for binary operations:

0 XOR 0 = 0
0 XOR 1 = 1
1 XOR 0 = 1
1 XOR 1 = 0

Why is the last result 0 and not 1? Because the operator is exclusive OR. The binary logic operator OR, would return 1 for the last result. XOR requires one and only one of the two binary values to be 1, not both of them or neither of them.
